'Tis the Season!

It's the official start of the holidays. Time for some turkey and visits with family and good friends. It's also the time for all the crazy shopping frenzies which, thankfully, I don't take part in. I prefer to do a lot of my shopping through amazon just to avoid all the mayhem. I'm 90% done with my holiday shopping and I'm glad that I got the bulk of my holiday sewing done before now since I have to have foot surgery on Monday. It's going to lay me up for the month of December so it might get a little quiet here but don't worry, I'll be back and quilting more soon enough!

In the meantime, enjoy your time with you loved ones today on this beautiful Thanksgiving day. I have much to be thankful for and I hope you do too. Have fun trimming the tree, baking cookies, and finishing up your holiday projects in the coming weeks!

  1. best of luck with the foot op, good excuse to take it easy and put your feet up. I suppose the sewing machine will be out of bounds if it is the machine foot but hand sewing will be no problem. Good to read you have most of your shopping done, I am lucky, only 2 daughters and one granddaughter to buy for and all they want is the money!

Thanks for taking the time to comment! I love hearing from my readers. I typically respond directly to your email unless it's an answer that I think everyone would be interested in hearing. If you are a no-reply blogger (and I know that blogger does not play nice with other blogging platforms!), I will reply directly on my website. Thanks for stopping by!
