Perfect for Fall & A Friday Finish!

I love it when I can finish knitting something relatively quickly. I'm sure that is why baby clothing is my favorite thing to knit. It doesn't require as much time commitment as a full sized garment plus it usually doesn't require gauge. I figure if I can make a baby item before the baby is born, there's a good chance that he/she will be able to wear it. I never make anything smaller than a 3 month size according to the pattern and usually opt for 9-12 months just to be safe.

Baby hats are so quick and easy, and this one is by far the cutest thing!

I made a few for my son, including one with earflaps but he's since outgrown them. In fact, he's gotten so big that I can't use him as a model for my baby knits so I have to resort to the Mouse from the "If You Give A Mouse A Cookie" books.
